3. Chop vegetables.
4. Raid pantry for nice-looking spices.
5. Stir-fry vegetables in oil with spices.
6. Dump vegetables on rice.
This time, the vegetables were spring onions, a red pepper, and some Crimini mushrooms, and the spices were soy sauce, pepper, fresh garlic, and (just for the heck of it) basil.
Hasn't failed me yet.
