Have you heard of Eprida?

Further to the topic of carbon emissions, i just came across Eprida, a company that claims to have come up with a chemical process that yields energy with net negative carbon emissions; that is, it takes carbon dioxide out of the air and fixes it into a carbon-based fertilizer. They've got a little Flash animation explaining the process.

Sounds almost too good to be true: plant waste and carbon dioxide go in, hydrogen gas and fertilizer come out. Anyone heard of this before or have some chemistry or agriculture knowledge that would help? Is it real and practical? If it is, it could be huge.
