Of interest to nerds.

This is a wonderful little article on the history of Segoe, which will be the main UI font in Windows Vista and Microsoft's new branding font. It's wonderful because i love the tone and style — i learned a lot just from exposure to the names of unfamiliar typefaces and type design companies.

Thanks to Adam, i heard about the Underhanded C Contest, which i think is just fantastic. This is exactly what programmers need to become familiar with to understand why C programs can be so dangerous. I hope it draws the attention of language designers to these issues, too.
